Comments about the Works
Winter Impressions is a five-movement composition in which one may find familiar melodies of Christmas carols. The second movement resounds with echoes of the polyphonically processed carol Gdy śliczna Panna, and the fourth movement is a simple arrangement of the carol O, gwiazdo betlejemska. Movements II and III were also arranged for piano and included in the Miniatures for piano series.
