Comments about the Works
It is a one-movement composition in two versions: Lento tranquillo and Con vigore. The first one runs lazily in wide and polyphonic planes. In Con vigore, the leading role is played by an octave theme with an exposed tritone interval, initially in the accordion part, then by the whole ensemble. The sound tissue of the accordion theme is enriched with polyphonic interventions.
