Comments about the Works
Four short yet demanding compositions: the first one uses the interval of the major septimal; the second one is filled with dense chords; the third one is metrically variable while maintaining the eighth note pulse of repeated triad sequences, and the fourth one slowly combines the harmonic and melodic planes.
This work, in a slightly different arrangement, also appears as the last movement of 11 works for children's orchestra.
